A Tribute to Jeremy Frith
By @Flowbewankenobi
A lotta people don’t know about Jeremy Frith, especially we younger lot – even I only know very little. About 2 years ago, earlier in Bermemes I kind of became obsessed with collecting Bermudian objects, trinkets and memoirs and I have been reading as many Bermudian made books over the years. Anyway, I came across Jeremy’s book and it easily became one of my favourites. I’m unsure if it was the genius of it or the fact that it was the first thing I’ve ever seen written in full Bermudian dialect –I still read it from time to time and even shared it with others.
So who is Jeremy Frith?
After he died in 2009 Jeremy Frith was described by his family “as a visionary and a maverick in all aspects of life with a remarkable sense of humour … a fixer and a thinker, a dreamer and a doer, a poet, musician and storyteller.”
I’d agree. But don’t let us tell you who he wa, you can see him here for yourself
