Bermy Style steals spotlight at Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

Ay buh!

So check dis.... This past weekend Bermudian Jamel Hardtman had the opportunity to attend the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State park in Jersey City, NJ.

We know, we know... you prolly looking all confuzzled like “Wha’s de Veuvo Cicquot Polo Classic?” or even tryna pronounce Veuve Clicquot correctly by yourself, making sure no one around while you try to. But anyways if ya ever heard of or even  watched the Kentucky Derby knows it's more than a horse race. There's fashion, class, and plenty of style on full display. Saturday'sVeuve Clicquot Polo Classic is no different and of course, you know us Bermudian love to flash a lil press anywhere!

On de Scene

Women wore beautiful summer dresses and stylish church hats while the men interacted with their style by  wearing shorts with jackets, or suits . (see photos here) But, you know us Gombeys, Jamel just had to show dem the only way to wear Bermuda shorts, and that is with the knee high socks.

Most memorable moment

One gentleman even said to him, "either you're from Bermuda or you really love Bermuda.” The iconic Bermuda look truly stood out and he has our  vote for this look as the best of the best in #ClicquotStyle!
