De Weekend Recap 1.31.16
AY BUH!
Dun’een now whurr to start wif dis one but if ya ears whurr to de street last weeks, we know they’re burning as hot as walking horseshoe bay parking lot barefooted in August. Oh fack! Between de whole news shenigans and BPS getting into Bermy hip hop investigating some diss tracks on youtube! things got real productively hot and sweaty on whatsapp. We caunt say much on it but de last week of January been dubbed #LeakWeek and for those that are in de know let’s just join in congregation and say EH-ENNNNN!
Nah, leaving all dat alone and hopefully in last week, hurr’s our picks for de recap:
1. Harrington Sound Primary School recreated de Theatre Boycott of 1959
So you know she’s black history month and one of the biggest events that occurred was the Theatre Boycott which resulted in the abolition of segregation in Bermuda hotels and theaters and restaurants. It was organized by "A Progressive Group" to coincide with the 350th anniversary of the founding of Bermuda. So props to HSPS for teaching and appreciating Bermudian history.

2. The Birdman was seen wif Bermudian Black Rum
For those that dunno who “Birdman” is, Birdman is an American rapper that own and co-founded Cash Money Records that hosts some of the world’s hottest entertainers.
