Slave House turned into a Bermudian Mosque

While everyone was prepping for May 24th holiday, Bermuda had a unique visitor that seemingly visited under the radar of the media here. A verified Islamic Theologian and scholar, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi

did, (in his words) were not planning a recording, but uploaded this recent vlog to over 60,000 subscribers that lead to plenty conversation in his medium about Bermuda and here history.

Here's the vlog description:

"During my recent visit to the beautiful island of Bermuda, I was blessed to visit one of the local mosques, an old structure that dates back to the 1700s (although it was only converted to a masjid around a decade ago). What really amazed me was that, centuries ago, this masjid used to be a place that housed over a hundred slaves, but today it houses the worshippers of Allah." - Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi
