Bermunchie Highlights: 'Indulge' at Hamilton Princess

Team Bermunchies was invited to experience one of the newest social evenings held at the lovely Hamilton Princess Hotel called ‘Indulge’- a weekly event held every Thursday from 5-8pm that brings you a laid back sophisticated vibe. It features some of the finest champagnes, single malts and cigars alongside live entertainment on the hotels Marina.

Let’s get to our favourite part- THE FOOD. You can order off of the menu from 1609. We chose to sample their ‘Todays Taste’ platter as recommended by our lovely server. The sample platter changes daily depending on what’s available.

On this particular day, we got to try their calamari (THE BEST I HAVE HAD- seriously), grilled prawns, blue cheese wrapped in zucchini, wahoo bites wrapped in bacon and a fresh tomamto custini. The calamari was perfectly crispy and not greasy and was served with a spicy chipotle mayo that complimented the calamari perfectly. We would definitely go back JUST to order their calamari. It was that good!

We pretty much devoured the entire plate in a moment’s notice. Everything was so fresh and beautifully presented- food made with love and passion just tastes so much better! We also tried their sweet potato fries because.......WHY NOT? They were the perfect bar nibbles that complimented my glass of Princess Swizzle impeccably.
